ETG.1020 EtherCAT Protocol Enhancements
The update of the ETG.1020 is available for a 6-weeks review.
The main enhancements are:
- Inclusive language
- Dynamic Process Data Channel (DPC)
- Warning Indication
- Editorial fixes and clarifications
- New object Device Statistics
- Clarification for the usage of the “Address field” in Mailbox header
- New object Manufacturer-specific Device Identification
- Objects defined as ARRAY can be implemented as RECORD with ENUM entries
- Clarification for usage of Timestamp object 0x10F8
- Clarification of the meaning of PDO mapping information for objects
