ALTAIR - A Laboratory for Teleoperation and Autonomous Intelligent Robots - is located in University of Verona, Italy. Its aim is to lead research and development on nonconventional robotic systems that can interact with the surrounding environment in multiple ways, from teleoperation to autonomous behaviours. Its research mainly focuses on mobile robots and teleoperation, with particular attention to surgical applications with haptic feedback.
