Since 1992 IBS realized high-end test-benches for gearboxes using real time measuring systems. The test sample stimulation is done by position/force controlled servo axis. The solutions from IBS contain conception, development, construction and realization of ready to use test systems for one- and multi-axle acquisition of mechanical parameters (stiffness, damping, backlash, friction, moments of inertia). The control of servo drives, actuators and sensors is done by several fieldbus systems, e.g. EtherCAT.
