The Chair for Computer Architecture and System Programming at the University of Kassel imparts knowledge in the field of Microprocessors, computer engineering and system programming. Furthermore it aims to develop safe, intelligent, reliable computer architectures, describe them mathematically and verify and validate them by prototypes. A priority is the development of degradable safe structures. The scope of research reaches from hardware architectures to the development of safe software systems and safe networks.
