The PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts offers a wide range of educational programs for about 10.000 junior colleagues in 9 departments spread over 7 campuses. The electromechanics program is part of PXL Green & Tech. In this program a three-year Bachelor of Science (BSc.) and a two-year program are available. The BSc. is a practical course comprising theoretical and scientific subjects in the field of electromechanics. Students in their second year can opt to specialize in maintenance with a focus on maintenance, maintenance management and automation. They can also opt to specialize in climatization with a focus on HVAC, home automation and renewable energy. They will do a wide range of projects and assignments on technical, electromagnetic, pneumatic, hydraulic and thermal installations. The two-year program is even more practically oriented since it combines theoretical learning with in company training (dual learning). It leads to a graduate degree in electromechanics in one of the available specific disciplines.
