SYCO

The company SYCO - Software Engineering for Automation - has been constituted in 1978 as a spin-off of Politecnico di Torino. It designs Object Oriented software architectures, development environments, frameworks and tools to enable automation in factory and services. Applications are: robot controls, shop-floor controls, ship and motorway automation, telecommunications integration systems. Related to EtherCAT, SYCO offers frameworks, tool, libraries and consulting to develop on Linux, at kernel level, multivariable controls.
