eNtsa, a technology station within the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU), is mandated to increase technology levels in the South African manufacturing industry. Mainly involved with technology transfer and commercial research activities, the team has received international recognition for the development of novel friction processing applications. The WeldCore™ sample and repair technique is the first of these processes to be fully commercialised.
