Unmodified Ethernet for Industrial
Automation?
|
Abstract |
Of course you
use Ethernet on a daily basis – but it’s
so well hidden behind your browser that
you may have never looked at the
technology behind it, at least if you
are in automation and not in IT. This
brief presentation shows you how
Ethernet and the Internet works, and
puts you in the position to assess the
benefits as well as the limitations of
using these technologies in Automation. |
