Glencross has over twenty years
experience in industrial control systems
and project management. A specialist in
drive systems, Patrick has worked for
leading manufacturers in New Zealand and
Australia, along with time spent working
in the UK rail industry. While with
Omron New Zealand he has been a champion
for the integration of their range of
motion and automation control
technologies, across a variety of
industries. |

Harry Mulder, Engineering Manager, OMRON

Harry Mulder has been involved in the
industrial control industry for around
25 years, the last 22 of which have been
with OMRON Electronics. With a degree in
computer science, his experience
includes sales, engineering and product
management of industrial programmable
controllers, HMIs, networking and
software. He currently manages an
engineering team across four states but
still likes to get involved with
day-to-day problem solving. Harry is
very excited with OMRON Corporation’s
direction to make EtherCAT their
standard control network. |

Odes Poon BEng Elec (RMIT University
1991), is Omron's Automation Product
Manager for Oceania. In a career
spanning two decades, Odes' work has
included engineering, design,
programming & delivery of major projects
for companies including Ford, Kraft, &
Boral. He has also held technical &
marketing roles with leading technology
vendors Omron & Rockwell Automation.
Since joining Omron in 2005, he has
facilitated industrial automation &
business innovation and also been an
Engineering Manager. |

Yang Qiu, OMRON

After graduating, Yang Qui worked for
many years in the automobile industry in
his native China. He gained vast
experience in the industry, as an
engineer, supervisor and even manager.
He pursued his passion for engineering
by moving to OMRON Electronics twelve
years ago, the last five of which have
been in Australia. Showing his immense
versatility, Yang is now the engineering
expert for Queensland, for control,
motion, software, safety systems and
especially visual inspection and
networking. |
