Université Laval is North America’s first French-language university. Today, it offers more than 500 programs in 17 faculties. The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the largest in the Faculty of Science & Engineering. It offers two accredited engineering programs and a full range of graduate programs to approximately 700 students. Research areas include aerodynamics, hydraulic turbomachines, vibration dynamics, mechanical design and product manufacturing, mechatronics and robotics.
