GITAI is a space robotics startup that aims to provide an inexpensive and safe means of working in space. GITAI is developing general-purpose work robots for space use that can perform on-orbit tasks such as docking, mission extension, repair, maintenance, space debris removal, and so on. These robots can be operated under supervised autonomy and/or controlled remotely. By 2040, GITAI will provide reasonable, safe, and reliable labor to construct cities on the Moon, Mars, and space colonies.
