Laser Scan Micrometer, LSM, enables non-contact, high-precision diameter measurement

This interface module is, when used, connected to the laser scan micrometer (LSM) on a non-contact diameter measuring instrument and constitutes the LSM system together with the LSM controller and LSM sensor.

As a slave device in EtherCAT, this module can communicate with a PLC or other devices that serve as a master station, which enables the control of the LSM sensor and the acquisition of measurement data by the master station.
