ETG.1510 Profile for Master Diagnosis Interface
Scope of this document is to define a vendor-independent interface for EtherCAT master devices providing access to diagnostic information to diagnostic tools and HMI applications independently from the specific master implementation. The diagnosis interface makes use and extends standard mechanisms and functionalities which are already defined by the EtherCAT specification. The document is divided into two parts: an informative part summarizing the diagnostic functionalities of EtherCAT networks and the specification of the diagnostic interface itself.
