The School of Instrumentation Science and Opto-electronics Engineering contains two undergraduate programs, which are Measuring & Control Technology & Instrument and Optical Information Science & Technology. The School has Instrument Science & Technology and Optical Engineering as 1st level disciplines conferring master degrees and two 2nd level disciplines conferring master degrees, including Measuring &Testing Technology & Instruments and Precision Instruments & Machinery. The School also confers professional master degrees in Instrument & Meter Engineering. The main research of this school directions includes optoelectronic Information detection and processing, optoelectronic systems and simulation, optoelectronic materials and devices, and so on.
