The Adaptive Robotics Laboratory hypothesizes that the adaptive intelligence of biological beings emerges from complex interaction among a body, a brain, and an external environment. Its research is focusing on how such a system can be designed in robots and how those robots constructively explain the adaptive intelligence of biological beings.
