The mission of Department of Printed Electronics from Nano-Convergence Manufacturing Systems Research Division, Korea Institute of Machinery & Materials (KIMM) is to develop roll-to-roll (R2R) based printing & coating systems for mass production of various emerging electronic applications. Core technologies of printing system, printing material, and printing pre-(post-)process are being researched and developed to achieve cost-effective mass production of multi-functional devices such as flexible displays, RFID-based Internet of Things (IoT), and nano-enhanced thin film solar cells.
