The IPI - Institute for Production and Computer Science was founded as TTZ Production and Computer Science Sonthofen and is an application-oriented research facility at the interface between science and industry. It accompanies and supports industrial partners in the implementation of research and development activities in the context of the digitization of production systems and production planning. The service portfolio of the institute includes direct cooperation/technology transfer, funding programs/applied research, the I4.0 network and the promotion of young talent. Its interdisciplinary team of highly qualified scientific employees is dedicated to the challenges of industry across all sectors. Together they develop new technology modules for digitized and automated production processes.
