ElastiSense

ElastiSense is supplier of its proprietary displacement sensors utilizing "active rubber" sensor technology also known as Electroactive Polymers or dielectric elastomers. The all-rubber design of the sensors, being elastically stretchable up to 100%, enables them to operate in mechanically aggressive environments while its capacitive sensing characteristics enables high accuracy measurements. ElastiSense sensor portfolio is versatile in displacement range (mm – m), mechanical frequency (DC to 100s Hz), and accuracy (0.1 – 1% of full scale). Current applications of the sensors are monitoring and quality control of production machines e.g. metal forming machines. Robotics, automotive, and structural monitoring are other applications of the sensors.
