EtherCAT gateway expansion module for Banner Safety Controller

Banner’s XS26 can handle safety controls without the need for a safety PLC. Communication to a non safety PLC can now be done via EtherCAT, a fast and flexible topology. Banner also offers exclusive In-Series Diagnostics (ISD) for additional data gathering and ease of wiring using the Banner safety bundle. The EtherCAT expansion module still allows for the ability to add up to eight expansion modules to the XS26 as well, retaining full functionality.
