Martin Rostan
Executive Director, EtherCAT Technology Group

Martin Rostan studied aerospace engineering in Germany and in the United Kingdom and received his diploma degree in 1992. Subsequently he managed the international research project that developed the initial CANopen technology. From 1996 until 1998 he was marketing manager and authorized officer at Selectron. Since 1998 he is with Beckhoff, first as senior product manager for Ethernet and fieldbus systems and since 2006 as head of technology marketing. Martin serves the fieldbus community in various committees: he is the executive director of the EtherCAT Technology Group, chairs the CANopen groups inside CAN in Automation and represents Beckhoff in ODVA and in several conference program committees. He also is technical expert in ISO and IEC standardization committees for industrial communication. With publications in magazines, text books, conferences and symposia he contributes to the dissemination of fieldbus and Ethernet technologies.

Horst Messerer

Cooperation with technology, development and process engineering, in the approximately 37 years of professional experience in the cable industry, many developments have been made for well-known companies and brand names.

Quah Boon Seng

As an experienced solutions sales specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the industrial automation industry, he experts in SCADA, HMIs, Motion Control, Machine Vision, and PC based control etc.
He has been employed by Beckhoff Malaysia since 2012 and he is Industry Manager | Factory Automation for Beckhoff Malaysia currently. He focuses on promoting Beckhoff "New Automation Technology" which is represents universal, open control and automation solutions to Malaysia’s Factory Automation market. He is also engaging closely with the clients on the consultation and the proposal of Smart factory of Industrial Internet of Thing (IIoT) or Industrie 4.0 concept using PC-based platform.

Lee Yen Hong
Country Sales Manager, Beckhoff Malaysia

Lee Yen Hong has obtained his degree from University of Applied Science in Hochschule Offenbury, Germany, specializing in Industrial Information Technique & Automation covering wide spectrum on production motion control, PLC programming and drive. He has 16 years of varied experience in industrial automation and in the training field. He is also a certified Trainer with HRDF (Human Resources Development Fund, Malaysia).
He has wide competence in Factory Automation ranging from industrial segments of electronic, semiconductor, hard-disc, automotive, materials handling among others. Mr. Lee has been employed by Beckhoff Automation since 2010. Today, he is Country Sales Manager for Beckhoff Malaysia, overseeing the sales department for Beckhoff Malaysia.

Deric Chin

Deric Chin is Business Development Manager for KUKA with more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry. He possesses diverse work experience in business development, project management, customer service, field service operations, and software development. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering from University of Hertfordshire, UK.
