Mr. Martin Rostan Executive Director, EtherCAT Technology Group
|
|
Martin Rostan studied Aerospace Engineering in Germany and in the United Kingdom and received his Diploma Degree in 1992. Subsequently he managed the international research project that developed the initial CANopen technology. From 1996 until 1998 he was marketing manager and authorized officer at Selectron. Since 1998 he is with Beckhoff, first as senior product manager for Ethernet and fieldbus systems and since 2006 as Head of Technology Marketing.
Martin serves the fieldbus community in various committees: he is the Executive Director of the EtherCAT Technology Group, chairs the CANopen groups inside CAN in Automation and represents Beckhoff in ODVA and in several conference program committees. He also is technical expert in ISO and IEC standardization committees for industrial communication. With publications in magazines, text books, conferences and symposia he contributes to the dissemination of fieldbus and Ethernet technologies.

Mr. Oliver Fels, EtherCAT Technology Marketing,
EtherCAT Technology Group |
|
Oliver Fels graduated
from Furtwangen University at Schwenningen
as a Medical Engineer (Dipl.-Ing.) and has
been employed by Beckhoff Automation since
2007. He works full time for the
EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG) at ETG
Headquarters in Germany in the area of
Technology Marketing and as a member of the
ETG Marketing Committee.

Mr. Bjørn H Brudeli Project Engineer, Amplitude AS |

Bjørn H Brudeli
works as a system developer in Amplitude AS. He did his first PLC
project in 1993 as part of his Engineering degree in tele/data
communication. He has been working in the moving picture industry
for more than 15 years, mostly as CTO in both Norwegian and European
companies. Now he spend his time developing motion solutions for
museums, theatres and conference venues.

Mr. Kjetil Draugedalen
Product Manager, Beckhoff Automation AS |

Kjetil Draugedalen joined Beckhoff automation in 2017, and are daily working with customers on automation system designs utilizing the whole Beckhoff portfolio.
After graduation from USN as an Electro-Automation engineer, he has been working with large offshore projects within the SAS-discipline (HW/SW design, connectivity/network designs) and have broad experience with engineering, installation and commissioning.
