Geoff has worked at Trio for 20 years, in the last 10 years as Technical Support Manager. With a background in electrical and electronic engineering and many years’ experience in industrial motion control, Geoff is well placed to support Trio’s customers across all motion technologies. Geoff is well acquainted with bus-based motion control systems using CanOpen, Sercos and now spends over 50% of his time on EtherCAT applications helping to meet the needs of a diverse range of machines. Previous employment included 10 years with Moog Controls working on both Brushless Servo and Hydraulic applications in the industrial market. |

He works full time for the EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG) at ETG Headquarters in Germany in the area of Technology Marketing and as a member of the ETG Marketing Committee. |

Thomas is one of the founders of Delta Elektronik A/S in Denmark. Delta has more than 40 years of experience with Motion Control. Delta Elektronik A/S has been a Trio Distributor since 1998 selling motion control systems into the Danish market and into other parts of Scandinavia. Thomas and his partner embraced the introduction of EtherCAT with the launch of Trio’s first EtherCAT master in 2010 and have made sales of more than 50 EtherCAT systems since then. |
