VIVES department IW&T has a long tradition in both research and education in Applied Engineering Sciences, Technology and Informatics. It is a center for Manufacturing Technology and Automation. The department IW&T specializes in the design of products & instruments and covers the whole process from digital design to production. It is also active in the field of automation & safety, not only on the level of software and controller technique but also with respect to pneumatic, hydraulic, electric and mechanic drive technique.
