Björn Hansson Consulting (BHC) provides system engineering services within embedded dependable computer systems. BHC has long experience from systems engineering and project management within the European space industry. The concepts, processes, and technologies needed to achieve fail-safe and fail-operational electronic systems are well understood. Today the company is active in the digital transformation of the automotive industry, but it is open for any collaboration where safety and availability are mandatory. BHC sees EtherCAT as a technology with huge potential for systems where precision hard real time and safety is required, in particular when redundant topologies are applied.
