Established in 1885, Yonsei University is the oldest university in Korea. The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Yonsei University is committed towards educating future leaders in the field of engineering. Department has 37 faculty members conducting state-of-the-art research in a variety of mechanical engineering subjects ranging from design, manufacturing, nanotechnology to biomedical engineering. The graduate program in Mechanical Engineering is designed to maximize the analytical and research skills of the students. Currently, the department has 320 graduate and 570 undergraduate students. The 6000 alumni of department are making important contribution in industry and academia worldwide.
