Dynamic Robotics Laboratory

The Dynamic Robotics Laboratory is housed in the School of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering at Oregon State University. The members of the DRL explore, design, and build robotic systems for physical interaction tasks that are traditionally difficult for robots. Examples include walking and running, force-controlled actuators for delicate tasks such as bomb defusing, lower- and upper-extremity powered prosthetic limbs, and exoskeletons for military use or assisted mobility for disabled persons.
