Overview

The EMM is a self-developed module with our original master stack. The EtherCAT master can be implemented by combining the EtherCAT master stack running on EMM with user applications running on the CPU on the customer's board. Various APIs and sample source codes running on FreeRTOS are available for real-time system construction. Various EtherCAT profiles (CiA402 and Semi) can be supported. The master stack satisfies all Class B functions, and supports the more demanding Class A functions such as FoE.

Data transfer to and from the customer environment

The Master Stack is designed to send and receive various types of data via EtherCAT communication to and from the customer's system through the DPRAM installed in the EMM. The DPRAM of the FPGA in the evaluation board (EVAL-CB) can be used for communication evaluation.
