Fagus-GreCon Greten GmbH & Co. KG is a globally active production company. The company's most important business areas are preventive fire protection and measuring technology systems as well as lasts and molds for industrial shoe production. The company is headquartered in Alfeld (Leine). The company also has sales and production sites in Lüdenscheid, Nuremberg and Moscow as well as subsidiaries in Brazil, China, France, the UK, Thailand and the USA. The Fagus Factory, built in 1911 by Bauhaus founder Walter Gropius and now the company's main building, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011.
