The Intelligent Hybrid Robotics Lab is working towards enabling novel robotic systems and their integration using state-of-the-art hardware and software. The research doesn't only focus on robotics; it also involves developing novel mechatronic systems based on real-time control, working towards the automation of processes. The main purpose of the lab is to combine conventional robot hardware with soft robotic technology through real-time communication and control, aiming to unlock the features of conventional robots combined with future soft robotic research (eg. sensors, actuators).
