State Engineering Center (SEC) was established to provide solution for problems related to large-scale modernization of Russian machine-building. Its main objective is to ensure long-term technological competitiveness of Russian machine-building and Russian strategic high-tech enterprises through preferential use of domestic means of machine-building production. Main activities of SEC are: information and analytic support of technological modernization, development of knowledge-intensive import-substituting machining equipment, specialists' training.
