VLT® Integrated Servo Drive ISD® 520

VLT® Integrated Servo Drive ISD® 520 combines a high-performance decentral servo motion drive with a servo motor in one compact unit up to a nominal torque of 13.8Nm. It is ideal for applications such as turntables, labeling, capping, and packaging in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, metal forming, material handling, and textile industries. Motion control is integrated into the drive to run the motion sequence independently and free up capacity in the central PLC. Additionally, a state of the art functional safety over fieldbus offering streamlines the machine design.

The Plug and Twist hybrid cabling concept, including supply and control voltage as well as functional safety and fieldbus wires, makes the installation fast, easy, fail-safe end cost-efficient. Since multiple decentral drive units can be powered by the combination of just one VLT® Power Supply Module PSM 520 and VLT® Decentral Access Module DAM 520 through simple daisy chain wiring.
