Decentralized FIPEOS power supplies

The decentralized FIPEOS power supplies with high protection classes IP65/IP67 are developed for flexible use directly in the field.

In addition to the outstanding features of the FIEPOS series including highest efficiency, advanced inrush current limitation, wide operation temperature range, electronic fuses for the output channels, multiple connector types and power reserves for dynamic loads (1000 Watt for 5 seconds), the FPT500 with EtherCAT interface (FPT500.245-018-103ETC) offers direct access to relevant system-data:

Measurement and process data, including:

  • Extensive measurement data and operating parameters, for input and output values - incuding AC input voltage, DC output voltage, total DC output current, DC output current per channel
  • Device-internal parameter values, status bits and error messages as well as detailed information for each efused output channel. This covers information such as Stress-level of the device, working hours, endurance level, number of startups (device and efuses), uptime since last turn-on

Error messages, warnings and status information e.g.:

  • Overvoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature and pre-alarms.
  • Output voltage below the configured DC OK level (DC out warning).
  • Change of settings via HMI
  • Device alarms
  • This enables to identify errors at an early stage
