Martin Rostan
Executive Director, EtherCAT Technology Group

Martin Rostan studied aerospace engineering in Germany and in the United Kingdom and received his diploma degree in 1992. Subsequently he managed the international research project that developed the initial CANopen technology. From 1996 until 1998 he was marketing manager and authorized officer at Selectron. Since 1998 he is with Beckhoff, first as senior product manager for Ethernet and fieldbus systems and since 2006 as head of technology marketing. Martin serves the fieldbus community in various committees: he is the executive director of the EtherCAT Technology Group, chairs the CANopen groups inside CAN in Automation and represents Beckhoff in ODVA and in several conference program committees. He also is technical expert in ISO and IEC standardization committees for industrial communication. With publications in magazines, text books, conferences and symposia he contributes to the dissemination of fieldbus and Ethernet technologies.

Ryan Sia

Ryan Sia embarked on his journey with Beckhoff in 2019 as an application engineer who handles general customer support enquiries. Building upon this foundation, he later embraced a new role as a product specialist. Now he focuses his attention on supporting and providing solutions for XTS/XPlanar inquiries within the region.

Caspar Ko
Senior Software Engineer, IntervalZero

Joining IntervalZero in 2017, Caspar began his career as a software quality assurance engineer and continued with a research and development position taking charge of EtherCAT master stack and motion control algorithms. Having been attending several EtherCAT plug fests, he accumulated a bunch of experience in interoperability tests with EtherCAT devices. Now as a senior software engineer, Caspar focuses on the fieldbus protocols and tools for analyzing the performances of these protocols on different PC platforms.

Philip Tang

Philip Tang is an experienced professional with over 20 years of experience in Industrial and Building Automation. He is currently the Regional Manager for HMS Industrial Networks, overseeing operations and business development across Southeast Asia, India, and Oceania. In his line of work, he collaborates closely with channel partners and system integrators, proposing IIoT solutions to assist end users in their digital transformation journey.
