ETG.2010 EtherCAT Slave Information Interface (SII)
The EtherCAT Slave Information Interface (SII) Specification describes the structure and coding of the EtherCAT SII.

The SII (SubDevice Information Interface) holds the information about the device that is needed to identify and configure the device by a EtherCAT configuration tool a EtherCAT MainDevice. This binary information, handled in "categories" is usually stored on an EEPROM, connected to the ESC so that it can be read directly from a connected MainDevice or configuration tool. The ETG.2010 specifies the usage and content of the different categories.
