ISLE Steuerungstechnik und Leistungselektronik GmbH is a German independent and owner-managed R&D service provider in the fields of digitally controlled power electronics, electric drive systems, SMPS, renewables, automotive, industry, ICT, medical applications and power engineering. The main business areas are, on the one hand, the development of customized power electronics systems from proof-of-concept to series production. The customers cover SMEs and large well-known companies in Germany and abroad representing growth markets. Energy-efficient ac/dc, dc/ac and dc/dc converters as well as switch-mode power supplies are part of the scope. The second main business area is characterization, test and topology-optimized application of power semiconductor devices. In addition to standard characterizations, special setups for dynamic tests (ruggedness, robustness, reliability) are developed and corresponding tests carried out. Besides R&D services, ISLE is able to manufacture products in small and medium series quantities.
