HV BM Split Modules
The HV BM Split Modules use the proven technology of the HV Breakout Modules for fast and precise measurement of internal conductor current, voltage and power even in confined spaces. HV BM Split Modules can be used to perform measurements in HV power cables or also on busbars.
They are used where there is not enough space for the installation of the HV Breakout Modules. For flexible installation of the measurement technology in confined spaces, the HV BM Split modules consist of three components:
- Sensor modules for current measurement
- Sensor modules or cables for voltage tapping
- Measurement module for the acquisition of the measured values
The sensor modules (HV SBM - HV Split Breakout Modules) are each connected to an input of the measurement module (HV SAM - HV Split Acquisition Module) using shielded, HV-safe sensor cables.
The "split" design allows the individual HV Split Breakout Modules and the HV Split Acquisition module to be installed where space is available.
